Providing 1,124 meters (3,700 feet) of vertical, and a run with a total distance of 8.5 kilometers, Suginohara is one of Japan's top ski areas. It has a wide variety of ski trails, and lifts that swiftly carry skiers up to 3km at one time. The upper reaches of the ski slope have premium snow quality and a magnificent view. Some of the slopes are left ungroomed, providing excellent powder conditions.
